Your visit to the American Medical Center is significant to us, and we want to ensure your experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible. This section gives essential details to help you navigate your time with us, from understanding our temporary visitation guidelines to finding your way within our premises.

  • Visitors play a crucial role in our patients' healing process. While our goal is to have visitors fully present for our patients when conditions allow, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic necessitates limiting visitation to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, and team members. Please note that our standard visitation policy is temporarily suspended. Currently, we are able to accommodate one 15-minute visit by a first-degree relative per day. This visit will be scheduled before a confirmed telephone appointment. For more information on the current restrictions, please reach out to us at +35722476777.

  • Navigating our hospital is made easier with signage placed throughout the building. Staff members at the front reception are also available to assist you. Patient rooms are labelled with a single letter followed by a three-digit number. The letter designates the section, and the first digit indicates the floor.

  • Feel free to use your cell phone at AMC unless indicated otherwise by signage. While using your cell phone, please be mindful of others and respect patient confidentiality.

  • Wireless Internet is available throughout the building. Ensure your electronic device is equipped with wireless Internet capabilities. If it can detect available networks, it will identify the “Guest” network and prompt you to connect.

  • Our cafeteria operates daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with adjusted hours on Saturdays (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and Sundays (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). We accept VISA and MasterCard. If needed, receipts for food purchases can be requested.

  • Visitors and families can park for free in areas marked "Visitor Parking." Please avoid parking in spots designated for special needs, such as handicapped spaces.

  • Public transportation options are accessible. Find more information at

  • Regrettably, live plants and flowers are not allowed in patient rooms or the Intensive Care Unit. If received, we will hold these items in the hospital and provide them to patients or their relatives upon departure. Nonetheless, sending cards and other gifts to patients at AMC is encouraged.

  • To maintain a healthy healing environment, AMC is a "No Smoking" facility.

  • For safety, refrain from bringing valuables to the hospital. AMC is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

  • Here are a few points to keep in mind while visiting your loved ones:

    • Maintain a quiet atmosphere by speaking softly and minimizing unnecessary noise.

    • Understand that family and visitors may occasionally be asked to leave the room during tests, treatments, or medical examinations.

    • Prioritize hand hygiene by washing your hands upon arrival and before departing.

    • Refrain from visiting if you're feeling unwell to prevent spreading germs.

    • All children must be supervised by an adult and cannot be left alone with the patient.
